Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in the US for more than forty years. Her most well-known role is for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in during her stage debut. Then, she appeared on Broadway in various shows until the year 1957, when Li'l Abner made it famous at the National Theatre. In the same year, she made her debut album, It's the Time for Tina. Her first appearance in Hollywood was when she played Griselda in God's Little Acre, which was a 1958 film. It received wide applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. When she was in New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationship with Lee Strasberg. She signed on with CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her career in between Broadway television and Hollywood playing more serious roles as in contrast to her portrayal of herself as a glamorous woman. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. In recent times, she also became a well-known director on popular TV shows such as Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex August 28th in 1965. Her family then moved to Toronto for her childhood. Her home was in Vancouver after she was selected for the role of Samantha Carter.
