Coleman is Lancashire-born. Coleman graduated from Arnold School Blackpool, where she scored straight A's for her A-levels. She regrets that she didn't have a typical university education when discussing her Emmerdale experience. While at school Coleman was part of the theatre group In Yer Space with whom she performed at the Edinburgh Festival in the play Crystal Clear. She won an award for her performance while the production was also well-received. When she was auditioning for drama schools, Coleman landed the part of Jasmine Thomas in Emmerdale in 2005. Coleman received two awards in the year 2007. In 2007, Coleman was nominated for two awards: the British Soap Awards as the Best Newcomer, and the National Television Awards as the most Popular. In 2009, she was awarded nominated in the two categories which included Best Actress-Sexiest Women and Best Performance Dramatic. Coleman got her TV Choice Awards nomination for Best Actress. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who revealed in a news conference held on the 21st of March, 2012, that Coleman will take over the role of Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat selected her because of her ability to work with Smith and also because she was faster at speaking than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been active in the industry since 1987, and has appeared in many TV and film projects. Her most popular role was on TV. Eva is best known for her role as Dr. Maria Santos on All My Children as well as detective Natalia Boa Vistas on CSI Miami. This particular show brought her two nominations for a 'Daytime Emmy. Also, she got to show off her artistic side by performing music. Eva is also an entrepreneur, philanthropist and the philanthropist. She has been married three times, and has one daughter along with her husband.
