Lis Wihl (born on August 19, 1961) was an American writer and lawyer who worked for Fox News.
Her previous position was as Assistant Professor of Law at Law School at the University of Washington Law School. She was a legal commentator on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factual as well as National Public Radio. She was a regular guest on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly, Lou Dobbs Tonight, the Imus morning show, and hosts the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl she was born and grew up in Yakima in Washington State, was a graduate of Yakima in the state of Washington from West Valley High School. She received her bachelor's degree from Barnard College, followed by a master of arts in literature from the University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl worked as the US attorney. Her role was as the correspondent for legal issues of the NPR program All Things Considered. She worked as the Chief Investigator's Counsel for the Democrats at the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. She was a tenured professor in laws at the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle from 1995-2001, and she directed in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program. She was an analyst at Fox News from 2001 until the year 2017.
