Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Most famously, she is the host of CNN's morning show At This Hour. She also co-anchored the CNN Monday morning show New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was part of CNN its award-winning coverage of the 2016 and 2012 presidential election. Bolduan also worked as a congressional correspondent based in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. As a member of the Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported about the legislative process and other congressional activities, including talks to increase the limit on federal debt and super committee discussion. As a general assignment reporter she covered news such as that of the Christmas Day bombing in 2009 and the Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare. In 2007, she joined CNN as a national correspondent for CNN Newsource. She wrote feature stories as well as breaking news to more than 800 CNN Newsource Affiliates as a national reporter. The stations she worked for were NBC News, MSNBC, as well as WTVD-TV. She is a resident of New York City, with her husband and their two children.
